Mountain Aura Crystals

Apatite was named by a German geologist in 1860. Apatite is often mistaken for other minerals and this tendency is reflected in the mineral’s name, which is derived from the Greek word “apatein”, which means to deceive or to be misleading. Apatite combines different levels of fluorine, chlorine, and hydroxide which allows it to range in color from deep blue-green to yellow and sometimes pink or violet. Apatite contains the same elements that make up our own tooth enamel, giving it excellent metaphysical healing qualities for the body and bones. Apatite can be toxic if ingested due to the high levels of those same elements so please do not eat it (or attempt to make your own toothpaste). Apatite is water safe for short periods but should not remain in long-term sun exposure.
