Mountain Aura Crystals

Though first discovered in 1940, Charoite only made its way onto the scene in 1978! Charoite has a milky, pearly, luster mixed with the colors of deep purple, light lavenders and white. It has an unusual swirling and fibrous appearance which is sometimes chatoyant and along with its intense color, it can lead many people to first believe that it has been enhanced or artificially created. The Inclusions within Charoite (that make up the patterning) are Augite, Aegirine, green Feldspar, Canvasite, Tinaksite, and white Feldspar. Charoite has no known toxicities however it is a softer stone and should not be submerged in water to avoid damage.
