Mountain Aura Crystals

Pyrite’s metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool’s gold. But… don’t let that nickname fool you, Pyrite can actually be found on occasion in association with small quantities of real gold and can help you manifest whatever you desire. The name Pyrite is derived from the Greek word pyr, “fire,” because Pyrite emits sparks when struck by metal. Pyrite is usually found alongside other sulfides or oxides in quartz veins, sedimentary rock, and metamorphic rock, as well as in coal beds and fossils. Pyrite was once mined quite heavily in China for creating sulphuric acid, but those mines are only in use today to produce some of the most beautiful specimens for resale. Normal handling of Pyrite is not harmful or dangerous however Pyrite is not water safe and should not be ingested.
