Mountain Aura Crystals

Seraphinite is a trade name for a type of Clinochlore, a member of the chlorite family. Due to its chatoyancy (cats eye effect), Seraphinite was named after the biblical seraphim angels because of its likeness to feathers. Seraphinite is usually dark green to dark gray in color, has chatoyancy, and has hardness between 2 and 4 on the Mohs scale meaning it is a softer stone. Seraphinite is mined in a limited area of eastern Siberia in Russia. Seraphinite is NOT water or acid friendly, including basic citric acids and body/skin oils. Please handle with caution to preserve the integrity of your stone.
