Info: Brookite in Quartz is Quartz crystals with black to brown inclusions that look different from tourmaline due to their feather like appearance and behaviour. They are generally tabular, elongated and striated parallel to their length but can also be found developing in pyramidal, hexagonal or prismatic forms. Brookite on its own displays a sub-metallic lustre. Brookite by itself can be found with the associated minerals: Rutile, Titanite, Orthoclase, Hematite, Calcite, Chlorite and Muscovite although Brookite is most commonly seen as an inclusion in Quartz.
