Info: Chlorite Quartz is Clear Quartz with green Chlorite inclusions either internally or externally. The internal inclusions can often be seen as phantoms which are trace coatings from previous point formations, which are then overgrown by new Quartz. The name Chlorite is taken from the Greek “chloros”, meaning green. This is the most common colour of Chlorite, however, it can also rarely be found in pink, yellow, red & white. Chlorite Quartz is water safe when contained within internal inclusions but external inclusions can be more fragile and should not be submerged.
