Info: Girasol is also known as Lavender Quartz, Foggy Quartz, Pearl Quartz, Moon Opal, Blue Opal Quartz, Moon Quartz and Milky Quartz. It is a special type of Quartz, unlike its normal counterparts as it has an internal ethereal floating glow that seems to move with light changes. This stone is often seen in the colors golden yellow, blue, white, purple and pink and can be a more expensive stone. Girasol Quartz is formed during the cooling down process of the liquid magma due to a volcanic explosion. During the cooling process, silica acid bubbles transform from a gas-liquid state into a solid state creating the “girasol effect”. It is truly a stone like no other. Girasol Quartz is water safe.
