Info: Mangano Calcite, which can be also known as Pink Calcite, is a manganese calcium carbonate mineral. Its color can range from light to dark pink depending on the quantity of Manganese it contains. It’s common for this stone to have white Calcite banding hidden within the soft pink hues. Mangano Calcite is UV reactive and under UV light, the stone changes from its pink hue to a hot neon pink color. The majority of the current Mangano Calcite being mined is originating from Pakistan. This stone is not water friendly.
