Info: Yooperlite may look like your average gray rock to the naked eye, but the mineral composition makes Yooperlite glow under ultraviolet light. When exposed to UV lighting, the fluorescent Sodalite inclusions within these Syenite stones light up like hot coals are burning inside. Syenite (the base material) is an igneous rock that solidified slowly in the crust in a similar manner to granite. Syenite has a composition that is similar to Granite. The biggest difference is that it has slim to no Quartz content, while Quartz is an essential component of Granite. Yooperlite is water safe.
