Stone info: Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. It is an ingenious rock. Pure obsidian is usually dark in appearance, though the color varies depending on the impurities present. Iron and other transition elements may give the obsidian a dark brown to black color. Most black obsidians contain inclusions of magnetite. In some stones, the inclusion of clustered crystals of the mineral cristobalite in the black glass produce a snowflake pattern (snowflake obsidian). Obsidian may contain patterns of gas bubbles remaining from the lava flow, aligned along layers created as the molten rock was flowing before being cooled. These bubbles can produce effects such as a golden sheen. An iridescent, rainbow sheen is caused by inclusions of magnetite nanoparticles.

Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the item(s) you have purchased, they are natural items produced by the earth and known to have natural flaws and imperfections. This is normal and uncontrollable. Due to this, items are not eligible for exchange, non-returnable and non-refundable.

In the case that goods are purchased and resold, Mountain Aura reserves the right to terminate all future transactions to the consumer. If items have already been picked, restocking will be charged at a cost to the customer.

Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged from transit or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
